Union was founded in 1976 and is now the largest manufacturer of drycleaning machines, and has produced over 20,000 worldwide.

Having achieved a remarkable, international success in a relatively short time, UNION reassessed its position and significantly expanded its production facilities.

To meet an ever-increasing worldwide demand for UNION drycleaning equipment, the company invested in a larger plant which opened 1995.  This is the fourth UNION factory since machine production began.

Doubling of production capacity has been possible thanks to the new factory.  The plant's expansion has improved fabrication in several ways... machine assembly, quality control, state-of-the-art research and development department, high-tech inspection facilities, and a vast CAD-based design center. 

The company, which now employs over 130 people, has become self-sufficient to the extent that almost 80% of machine components are made in-house, thus ensuring strict quality control.

Sales and service departments are staffed by fully qualified multi-lingual personnel who are able to give comprehensive advice to UNION distributors and customers in over 60 countries worldwide, from USA to Tasmania and from Norway to Argentina.

The sheer variety of machines and equipment options offered by UNION requires a structured approach to communicating details of the latest technology.  UNION technical experts pass on information in training seminars and courses held in many parts of the world today.
